I was so excited when I got permission to post one of the pictures I had taken at a recent boudoir session. Boudoir sessions are a great way to surprise that special someone in your life. Here is one of my favorite shots from the session.
Baby Carter was born December 24, 2009 and he is absolutely adorable. I have photographed Carter’s big brother, A.J., before and I was so excited to see everyone again for these pictures. I always forget how small newborns babies are. Carter made the cutest faces during the sessions and already has a great personality. I always stop and remember how precious life is when I photograph little ones. Children always help remind you how simple and beautiful life really is. Welcome to the world!

Amanda and Peter were married and held their reception at The Pinery (www.thepinery.com) in Colorado Springs. Amanda looked so beautiful and had her hair done at Blondies The Beauty Shop in Denver (www.blondiesthebeautyshop.com) to go along with their 1940’s inspired theme wedding. I had taken Amanda and Peter’s engagement pictures last summer and we had a blast. I was so excited to see them again and photograph their wedding. It was so cold outside, but Amanda endured the cold to get some amazing pictures.
The reception was decorated so beautifully. The Pinery provided the beautiful flowers. The reception area has the most amazing chandeliers that make a stunning backdrop for the first dance photos. Their cake made by Elegant Bakery (www.elegantbakery.com) was so unique and fun.
This was my first time photographing a wedding at The Pinery and I was so impressed. The staff was so amazing to work and made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone at The Pinery was so nice and easy to work with. I can’t say enough positive things about The Pinery. Thank you everyone at The Pinery for you hospitality and kindness!

I was so excited when Amanda and Peter told me that they wanted 1940’s inspired engagement pictures. These two went all out for their engagement pictures. Amanda had her hair beautifully done and they rented an old car from Rich’s Autos (www.richsbody.com). I added some textures to some of the pictures to give them an older feel. The first picture is my absolutely favorite. It is so sexy and beautiful. I have so many favorites from their engagement session and it was so hard to narrow it down to a few for the blog. We had so much fun!
I had to wait until now to post their engagement pictures because they kept these pictures a secret from their friends and family. They created a movie size poster and framed the other pictures in large prints. They placed all the photos around the guest table. Their guests viewed the photos before they entered the ceremony. It was so great to watch and listen to everyone’s comments about their engagement pictures.
